We have One Goal and One Desire- Global Evangelism with a focus on bringing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Russian Jews worldwide. We are fulfilling this goal through outreaches in New York, Israel, Germany, Russia, Ukraine and all other doors the Lord will open.
Who We Are - Our History
Our ministry is made up of Jews for Christ and Christians for Israel. Many have partnered with us is in bringing the Gospel to the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel. Our founder is Reverend Igor Ashkinazi, a Russian Jew, who was wonderfully saved 25 years ago. At the moment of his salvation, Igor heard clearly the words of Jesus: “You shall never stop talking about me.” From that moment on Igor never stopped talking about his Jewish Messiah Jesus and as Igor himself states, by the grace of God he never will.
Since that time, Igor has ministered nation wide teaching on the Jewish roots of our Christian faith. His evangelistic meetings have brought many to Christ.
After the brake up of the Former Soviet Union, millions of Russian Jews and Russian speaking Gentiles moved out of their republics to Europe, America and the Middle East. At that time Freedom Ministries International was launched. We have traveled to Ukraine, Russia, Latvia, Germany, and Israel and presently minister in New York. Here we have found many Russian speaking people who are open to the gospel. These new believers are in need of ministry on every level of spiritual growth. In Brooklyn, NY we established four bible studies and we are presently teaching and preaching Freedom in Christ that is freedom from sin and everything else that hinders us to be all we can be in Him.
Today, many Christians are falling in love with the Jews and honor them. This is fantastic and we rejoice, but brethren our hearts desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they might not be just honored and loved but also SAVED. Jesus is the Savior of both Jews and Gentiles. Amen.
